The Tiller is our most admired Shiraz harvested from the Estate’s house block in the Clare Valley’s dress circle Armagh district. Holding a special place in vigneron Nick George’s heart, the fruit has been given the royal treatment: hand pruned, hand harvested, vinified expertly and matured sensitively in 50% new French oak to celebrate the cool-climate vitality of fine Clare region Shiraz. Rich plum flavours, natural spice complexities, an energy-infused palate with supportive tannins and great length. Its class shows effortlessly now with the potential to reward 5-10 years cellaring.
Alluring hints of sweet red plum fruits integrated with rich tobacco and cedary French oak tannins.

Rich, ripe classic plums and dark berry flavours deliciously entwined with spicy oak derived flavours that leave a moreish taste to be enjoyed over a long period.

Slow roasted shoulder of lamb, D’affinois or other soft cheeses.
